To celebrate the release of Lohusa (Postpartum), a film by Gupse Özay exploring the postpartum experience, Berk Ilhan designed an immersive gala experience that transformed Zorlu PSM—Turkey’s largest performing arts venue—into a surreal, emotionally resonant nursery.
From a floating tulle canopy with a lifelike newborn prop to immersive rooms exploring the chaos and joy of new parenthood, Ilhan crafted a spatial experience that blended humor, warmth, and honesty. An animated invitation voiced by Özay, a sideways-mounted bed installation, and a cinematic LED wall animation all worked together to extend the film’s narrative into physical space.
The event combined multisensory design, storytelling, and playful interaction to engage audiences both in person and online. Ilhan led concept development, spatial design, and execution from initial vision to final delivery.
